S Cooperative/Timeshare?

I've read/heard some pretty horendous stories this year about hideous vandalism to S's, and owners who have to park on the road, and THE totally outrageous insurance some have to pay, so I had a thought......

Call me a clown!, BUT it makes me wonder if there isnt a market for some of you in this situation to set up an 'S Cooperative' (shared ownership,with shared insurance, maintenance and of course shared storage facilities etc.).....its only of use if the S isn't your only car, but I suppose on this basis you could afford to run 2 cars, a low cost run-about and then have some fun at the weekend (or hols) in an S.....think of it as S Timeshare.........
It's not ideal I know, but isnt it an option to consider, rather than forgetting about S'ing altogther.
Anyway..............just a thought.

Sounds a good idea, why don't we start it off.
I'll use the S from May 1st to Sept 30th and you can have it for the rest of the year.

You can have all the rest including B/H

Ok and to solve the storage problem you can park it at my house and I will use it only when you guys aren't.

I might have expected such a thing........so here's my final offer. I'll take you up, provided I have the same terms on all non leap years (with the caveat, that if its sunny on any particular day in the leap years, we toss for it)
BTW Ray, I'm sure it was you behind me on Thurs last week, coming out of Lincoln onto the ring road, about 17:30 ish.......I was that demented pill...ck maddly waving to himself in the rear view, FUNNY how you didnt notice! Must have tiv day out and a soon

nice one! but....beware, I might be Canadian, with a VERY large family!!
