Anybody watch the 2 House episodes on sunday?

Ive a query. What was going on with Taub and his wife? The $90k she had saved and went and bought him a 911 as this was his "dream" car...er I got lost when he looked disappointed and said they needed to talk. She said she was buying him a car, it wasnt about an affair and yet it all went pear shaped? I was only paying half attention, so Im presuming I missed an important bit. Anyone care to fill me in?

From S4, he lost his job as a plastic surgeon due to, I think, having an affair with one of his colleagues. The "need to talk" bit was him telling his wife about it.
