We are looking for the Ray Beadle Blue Max, Don Prudhomes Army FC or any other Vintage Funny Car in any condition with/without running gear. Need some kind of proof it is the original car and/or body. Many thanks.

The Blue Max Mustang 2 burnt to the ground under Dave Stone. The Blue Max Arrow runs Super Comp in Scandinavia. Ricky Gowan had the Prudhomme Army Arrow a few years ago, not sure if he still has it though. HTH.

the "original car" spec is another point as many "show" racers had multiple cars of the same name/build so they could race at various meets across the USA to avoid hauling cars over vast distances, so there may have been multiple "jungle jim" cars for example, and i doubt they have chassis numbers...

The best place to ask would probably be the Classic Funny Car Board (www.classicfunnycarboard.com). There's a lot of folk over there from the era, who would probably know the history of such things.

It's 98.58637% US populated, with some Swedes and Brits mixed in, but the N/FC's tend to zip from country to country, so someone over there might know a bit more about the Blue Max in question
