When i first needed to change suspension bushes on my GTV I went the OEM route after a LOT of discussion with people pro and anti- decided anti due to various negative things I had heard, mainly due to the hardness of them compared to OEM (stress on other suspension components, squeaking, hard ride, and removal of the passive rear-wheel steer of the GTV). But everyone seemed to be talking about Powerflex specifically which as far as I know only come in one hardness level. JR was speaking on another thread about different hardness / softness levels. I might be interesed when i need some more, if you can get softer ones. Anyone know anything on this subject? And where / who to get the bushes from? What different characteristics in handling can be expected? Any debate or knowledge appreciated.

I've got powerflex on my spider. They don't squeak - the hood mechanism behind my ears does that! They don't remove the rear wheel steer factor - if you apply throttle at the apex, the car will still turn in and you can still feel the rear wheel sort of tuck in, v similar to any rear wheel drive.

I've always upgraded the bushes on all of my cars and have never had excessive wear elsewhere caused by the bushes.
