I quite like it, I really need an estate that is 4wd and wouldn't want an SUV because of the image, so things like this and the Audi allroad appeal.

I currently have an A6 3.2 Q avant to sit alongside the M3, but would definitely consider the X1.
having said that, I would prefer a 335xi, are you listening BMW UK??!!

Agreed, that doesn't look like a leak at all. Plus it also looks like the same car (or one of them) that Autocar just drove and gave a brief yet pretty positive review of.

Anyway.. Its either an SUV or it isn't. I hate the idea of optional 4 wheel drive for a car like this! Why pretend? The thought of it almost makes me cringe.
I really don't think it looks so bad either. But to say that new BMW's are ugly seems to be the standard issue forum response these days It looks like a marginally beefed up, and slightly de-Bangled 1 series to me. Im all for de-Bangalism!

That doesn't surprise me at all. It must be a running joke at BMW to see how far they can push the boundaries of bad taste.
