Looking to buy a teeny tiny USB pen drive - a couple of places do them for ~30 quid, and they're out of stock.

HK seller has them for half the price with good feedback. Fakes? Never turn up? Take ages? What do we think?

Seems legitimate. Plenty of positive feedback. Not too much of a risk at that value.

Always take any eBay statistics with a pinch of salt though. I learned the hard way.

really depends on the seller... best you can do is look at the feedback and try to suss out if it's genuine. fwiw, i've bought from HK several times and touch wood, so far so good.

Bought loads of stuff from HK/China/Thailand off ebay.

You just need to go woth the info you have really and take a chance.
That sellers' feedback looks ok so no reason why you should have issues I wouldn't have thought.

From what i have seen, they are far more business orientated, that treat ebay as a major market, so don't mess about on it

A guy at work saw one advertised for 50p delivered, and you know what, that's exactly what it cost and it is spot on.

I bought a memory stick that looks like a poker chip from Asda the other day. Its only 1 gb mind but there may be other capacities. Width is that of a usb port, length approx an inch maybe less. Only a fiver.

Edited again to add that I bought an old nokia from HK and it was fine. My brother also bought one of those cheap double DIN dvd players from there. You can get stung on things like watches with duty though.

Bought a load of stuff from HK.

Some of it cost pence & was ste, but I knew that really.

Other stuff was fine.

Got some wired remotes for Sony MP3 players - spot on.

I did buy a "genuine" Nokia USB phone charger - ha ha!

It was a cheap knock-off inserted in original packaging, which was open & flapping.

But I knew that really wink

Let us know how you get on smile

Such an amazing form factor though!

I have probably had about 20 or so trades with HK eBay sellers this year. No problems at all. I like that memory though, I rate the Supertalent stuff too.

It's a shame that the monster green lasers are no longer on ebay. I was almost ready to buy a 200mW one....

Anyway, no problems with HK. Watch the postage though...

I've always been sensible with my purchases and never had a problem buying anywhere in the world, all it takes in a bit of research/recommendations of forums and checking their history.

In 100% of my dealings with Hong Kong or other Asian sellers I have received nothing but exceptional customer service.
