Right, I really need to get to London Victoria today (I am in Slough at the moment) and can't wait any longer if I'm honest, so I am thinking it will be best to hack round the M25 to a station somewhere and go in on the overground.

What I am wondering is where can I find a list showing what stations are on which overground lines into that station? If there was a map showing the route that would be helpful too!!

Cheers

Oh, I know there is the Gatwick Express in (obviously from Gatwick!!) but I can't see where it stops (as it would be more convenient to grab it on it's route in).

Also, I don't know if there is any service nearer Slough going to Victoria.

Johnny, if you are feeling bored, see if you can beat this:

Drive to Epsom station
Overground into London Victoria

I can't see any quicker way of getting there - any ideas??

Cheers guys

I'm looking... tried a few that I thoughy of but all require underground travel.

Will carry on...

ETA - how about into Paddington? You could walk the last bit through Hyde Park to Victoria? It's a bit of a trek but it's nice out...

Alternately - train from Slough to Windsor, change to the riverside station and into Waterloo?

Epsom runs into Waterloo, doesn't it?

You have to go over to Southern's area to get into Victoria.

Thank you for the suggestion. Is there a specific reason to use South Croydon?? Something I don't know about?? I'm just looking and it is an extra 25 mins from Slough (assuming no traffic on the '25!!!), but takes 20 mins less into London. Just curious that's all!

Drive to the nearest South West Train station, so if Windosr & Eton works take that one, take the train to Clapham Junction, change platforms and then take the train to Victoria.

Now, we may have a winner. Let me look into the routes and timings etc.
