A sexless marriage is a marriage in which little or no sex occurs between the two partners - often quantified as making love ten or less times per year. I appreciate that this is a sensitive question and may not get many responses - especially from those members whose partners also hang out here - but I'm curious as to how widespread a problem this is.
Are you in a sexless marriage? If so do you know the cause(s) of the problem? What are you doing to address them or have you just accepted the situation?
And before anyone asks, no, I'm not getting any, and yes, it is pissing me off

The last few years of my long term relationship we hardly went near each other...Reason, I couldn't stand him touching me, hence why I finally left.
But strangely, the few weeks before I left, our sex life went through the roof...poor bugger, no wonder he got a surprise when I said 'I no longer love you'

need a 'no because I'm not married' button!
Not really... just don't vote. You don't have to answer every poll. You see that 'Skip Voting' button, that's there for you in this poll.Edited by JJCW on Thursday 11th June 11:30

I think I have a compulsive ticky-box clicking reflex.
Have done, yes. I married a man with a low sex drive (though perfect in all other respects), and while this wasn't a problem initially, it eventually became one.
What's been explained to me is that when women reach their mid-thirties, oestrogen levels begin to decline, while testosterone (women have this too) is left 'home alone' as it were.
We've subsequently gone our separate ways, but remain friends, since we always were.

I used to be but divorce cured that problem
Things have definitely tailed off since the new OH and I had a baby though. What we once did all week we now do once a week (if we're lucky
). We're both knackered most of the time and when it gets to bedtime we both just want to sleep.

Being from an army family with a surname of Wilson, my big brother got called Tug, and I got called Tuglet. Anyone know why Wilsons get called Tug? My dad, grandad and brother were all in the army, and all got called Tug.
