Guys, does the Ultima aircon kit have a 4 wire or 2 wire pressure switch on the drier. If it has a for wire, could someone just post up the 4 connections please.

The std Kit comes with a "Binary" Switch witch is only a safety switch for the Pump, so pressure to high or to low then it wont allow the pump to run. Most modern cars run a "Trinary" Switch witch will also control the Fan on the Condenser, but the Ultima Condenser doesn't really have airflow across the condenser when the fans off, even at speed.... So basically you need the fan on if you ever want the AC on.... so dont bother with a 4 wire unit unless you can get air flow across the Rad without the fan....maybe with the Revire side pods you might be better...

Hi What Clive says is correct except I have a 4 wire switch so half is used for pressure safety cut to the compressor, the other switch is used to control the fan and fed with a non switched supply, when you stop and turn ignition off the fan continues to run until pressure has dropped.
