As my new long tube headers are about to go on, now is probably a good time to change my stock O2 sensors. Can anyone steer me in the right direction for quality replacements please?

Not sure how/where yours are fitted but be careful when you remove them. Plenty of WD or similar. When mine came out they stripped the female thread out with them.

Had to Helicoil the hole to re-fit them.

I wasn't even going to bother trying mate, just going to put new in the new headers.

got a set from Monkfish. I had found a direct buy from a supplier which were about 30 quid cheaper but it was the hassel of sorting them out. You will also need loom extenders (again monkfish)

If you are having to cut and extend wires, then any universal 4 wire sensor should do just fine.

true but I'd rather use an extention loom. The first set of O2's that were relocated ended up with spliced wires, one of the wires came undone (I discovered this thanks to efi live). It was one of the reasons I thought why pay someone a fortune to fubar my car up when I can learn and do the job myself better than those that had touched it as pros?

Its also one of the reasons I now would only recommend monkfish to work on peoples cars

This number looks like a Ngk number they use these numbers.

Theses are ngk numbers they cross reffer to ngk part No 1862 thats the stock code for the sensor. Hope this helps.

Many thanks, I have literally just got off the Phone to them and they do not list the Monaro even against that part #, but the plug certainly looks right. I will give it a whirl and let you know.
