Can't make Le Mans this year, gutted!

For those who can't make it this year - I know the boys are already there and I'm most jealous. Having been for the last four years I'm deeply saddened.

Look out 2010 - I'm defiantly back!!!!!

A complete DITTO! I've been for last 4 years, mates have now arrived and pitched in Tetre Rouge this afternoon. Gutted!

I've no idea why I'm even looking in this section.

This time last year I was recovering from the hangover from hell, but I'd rather be hungover at Le Mans than sober at work!

This would have been my seventh year,,,missing it BAD. Just moved house and got stuff going on , keep getting this niggling thing in my head,,,,,,get in the car dash down to Dover and meet up with the boys over there. Not going to happen in reality ,,,next year for sure! Cant do this cold turkey for another 12 months.

i didnt go last year after having been the 5 prev years, missed it last year and missing it even more this year, but i might just do the classic next year!! but then again if i can i will try and do both although SWMBO might have other ideas
and even worse than last year i dont have broadband only have mobile internet so no live streaming this year otherwise i might have well gone as the cost of going over allocated downloads on mobile usb is crazy!!

First one in 5 years I'm missing. I waved off a group on Wednesday as they saddled up and headed for the port; absolutely gutted.

Going round to a friends house tomorrow, wheeling the TV up to the french doors, Eurosports ordered, BBQ will be fired up and beers placed in a coolbox.

OK, so this was to be 32nd consecutive year (bitten badly by the LM bug in 1978). Fell ill approx 12 hrs before planned departure on Friday morning, was admitted to hospital at a time when I should have been on the ferry and was operated on at a time when the first merguez should have been hitting the BBQ and the first Stella the stomach lining.

So here we are 9pm Sunday - just been discharged home at a time when I guess we would have just rumbled back into the drive from LM. Despite one GA, countless injections/drugs and the loss of some blood and dignity my wife reckons that I look far better than I usually do at the end of an LM weekend - here's to next year....

Ouch that's nasty. Only one thing for it... go to both next year
