Nice Restaurants - Haslemere/Farnham/Guildford area?
Discussion
So, the girlfriend and I plan to go out for a nice meal on Sunday, probably evening... Trouble is, we tend to eat out at Pizza Express A LOT and fancy a change of scenery... We want somewhere fairly fancy/nice but not too expensive (we're students you see), can anybody recommend anywhere?
Much appreciated!
ps. I'm thinking ZiZi's Guildford, that was a hit on Valentines Day... And I really fancy another Waffle with banana, cream and hot fudgey sauce! mmmm

If youre wanting to go to zizi's surely thats too much like pizza express if you fancied a change?
What other kind of food do you like?
Auberge nextdoor to zizi's has nice french style food.
If you like fish and/or seafood you will enjoy Loch Fyne. I personally love seafood and the food here.
Oriental food... youve got the Thai Terrace for thai food. The Mandarin restairant is good for chinese (my girlfriend and i used to go here back in the day when i was at godalming college... they've got good food and a good service)
Back to your end of the woods in halsemere. If youre fancying an indian youve got Shahanaz Tandoori on wey hill. I havn't been there but i've heard good things.
The Mullberry Inn (Chris Evans' pub on the petworth road near chiddingfold) has nice food, maybe a bit pricy IIRC.
Just a few ideas anyway!

Thanks! Is the Thai Terrace that place on the roof a bit behind ZiZi's back towards the Castle? If so we may try there, we spent aaaages laughing at some of the dish names on the menu! What other kind of food do you like?

Its half way down the high street toward the castle, above the carpark behind sainsburys.
Should be good for you there!
That's the one! The menu was hilarious, I'm gonna google it and see what they do, I can't say either of us are particularly adventurous pallet wise...Should be good for you there!
