As you may have read elsewhere Peter Wheeler passed away yesterday.

John Is trying to arrange a 1 minute silence and a re-naming of the Race as the peter Wheeler memorial Race.


If anyone has any ideas of anything else they would like to see happen ( bearing in mind Peter and his family were very private people) we'd like to hear

Very sad news. Brands weekend remembered Trevor so maybe fitting this weekend too

I think what has been suggested is right and fitting. As the first race is straight after lunch is would be easier to organise.

What about a minutes noise after the minutes silence? I am sure that Peter would both hear it and apreciate it.

Minute's silence observed and a few king words from Brian Jones who was commentating, then the field went off, all but two built in his era. Great tribute to a fine man
