I did a search but couldnt find a traffic cops thread about last nights show.

That simple lad who faked his hit and run - "but i've seen it in my head" & " my legs is real aching"

Should have been prosecuted and made to pay up for wasting everyones time.

Same for the chip eating taxi driver.

Felt sorry for that poor chap that did get run over - shame the CPS didnt think that there was enough evidence against that lad they collered for driving the metro - even though there was prints inside the car.

Did they say that the technician taking the prints was JPR Williams, the rugby player? If so he gets around a bit, he set my busted leg back in 82 at the Royal Berks Hospital.

And does anyone else think that the female blond welsh trafpol officer was on whizz - lots of sudden eye opening and mouth movements.wobble

Beyond All Reasonable Doubt the CPS would have to be satisfied that it was him driving at the time of the accident. Whilst we all know who was probably driving, if the CPS cannot prove it. CCTV was not clear enough, witness did not see the driver, etc therefore he gets off!!!!!

Justice generally does help the crims get off

IMHO

I was going to start a thread on last nights show.

That idiot who lay in the road should have had the book thrown at him. Total an utter oxygen thief.

And how the CPS couldn't prosecute the hit and run driver?! You could tell the BIB felt like all their efforts are in vain. Total joke.

GRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr mad

On what grounds would they have prosecuted him?

I thought he received a £60 fixed penalty for just that.

Maybe i should have written that he should have paid the actual cost of having all concerned involved, not just a measly 60 quid.

Attention seeking little nurk - funny how when his dad wanted to give him some "attention" he asked the PolMan to keep him away hehe

The police have to take a magnanimous view on this. The alternative would have been to take him to court - have the CPS draw up a case against him - decide whether to prosecute - find him a defence solicitor and ppossibly a barrister - go to court - where he migyht or might not be found guilty - and then fine him £60 if found guilty.

Much less of a cost to the taxpayer to fine him with a Fixed Penalty.

In British law, the level of the fine is fixed by statute - not equated to the cost to the exchequer.

I saw this last night as well, I'm suprised the copper didn't lamp the camp little fker, what a cheeky st.

Me thinks there's some serious mental issues at work there, he probably won't believe it even when he sees the neighbours CCTV footage.
