I believe it's a Christmas vintage of 2003, should be drinkable, no?
I need a soft drink to line the stomach before hitting the Jura Superstition.

Worth a shot (since to waste alcohol feeds the Devil) however I wouldn't be overly hopeful that 5 year old beer would be drinkable.

It is draught, so there is some hope.

ETA: well it definitely doesn't taste off, but I wouldn't say it was nice. It's totally flat and I don't think serving it at room temperature helped.
Might nip to the pub to nurse my taste buds back to health.

Seeing as I had an 11 year old bottle of Thomas Hardy's Ale last Sunday, I beg to differ smile

It was sublime BTW

In a glass bottle it should keep longer. The cans are plastic lined inside and the contents eat through the platic and into the can so even slightly old canned beer usually tastes noticeably metallic. I dread to think waht 6 yr old stuff would be like - I'm surprised the can's still intact.
