I'm seriously considering the purchase of my dream car, I've talked myself out of it for far too long... I've wanted a Lambo since i was old enough to appreciate them.

I'd like to speak to some owners if possible in south west London. I'm in the Surbiton/Esher area. Willing to buy the beers, food and travel within a reasonable distance at your convenience. I'd prefer to meet people, in the flesh with no BS involved, those who live with these cars on a day to day basis.

It'll be a second car and most likely a Gallardo Spider under £90k. (The most outrageous colour i can find :-)) I don't have a lot of questions as I'll be buying with my heart as opposed to my mind :-) I'd just like the chance to speak to some people who aren't trying to influence my decision with anything in mind other than their passion for the car.

I'm not a test pilot and I'm not asking to go out for a spin in your car, I just want some genuine information that I don't feel comfortable getting from any dealer, no matter how good their reputation is. If anyone here would be kind enough to help out please email me!!!

£20 via paypal gift to the person who guesses the number of irrelevant replies by next weekend :-)

i suspect not as the whole point of having a supercar is not jsut have the car its passion for it aswell which i assume u dont have! ive got a 355 and a 599 is on the way and the novelty will almost definatly not wear off! if it does u own the wrong car!

Sounds to me like you want to follow your dream and will do it anyway because it'll take a lot to persuade you not to, so save yourself that £100 meal, paypal me half of it (I'm nice like that smile) and go and get that G Spyder! I hope to one day be in the position you are biggrin

To the OP. Im in a similair position to you. I fancy a Gallardo but have never driven one. I started looking and spoke to a guy who seemed very realistic. He was selling his car after only 9 months because it was too loud, too uncomfortable on long journeys, the clutch was heavy and it drew much attention. I still want one though!!
