I posted on here a few weeks ago asking a couple of questions about the 'Ro, and before I knew it I had an email from a PHer who answers to the name of Rocket Man saying his would be up for sale shortly. I honestly couldn't believe it when it was a black 6.0 VXR with switchable exhaust and just 15 miles away! eek I went to see it, had a demonstration on an empty motorway biggrin and fell in love with it. You can kinda guess what happened next, and I spent the week feeling like a 6 year old on Christmas Eve biggrin

I went for my first proper drive today in Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire and had a case of the giggles, confirming I have the mental age of a 6 year old. If you read this Damian, she (I decided it's a she wink) is one fine car! What I loved the most is that with lower speed limits and more traffic these days I was starting to find driving a chore, but even plodding around stuck behind slow fools the Monaro makes driving great fun.

Piccy time, filling up the driveway. No complaints from the neighbours either so far clap

Simply put, the best thing is that feeling doesn't go away. If you love it now you will love it even more when you explore its limits.
Get your name down for july 4th drag day. No experience necessary!

The smile never leaves your face. Two years on and we're still like kids every time we get in it. Join us at Shakeys on the 4th July. Even if not to run, we have a great time as a gang. We're all "madly" in love with the same motorsbounce
Welcome BTW and hope to see you soon wavey
