After a very helpful post for "what cordless drill", which led to a successful purchase I now need a corded drill for masonry (concrete, brick, stone) drill work. Got a lot of concrete drilling work coming up.

Can anyone suggest a good model for under £60. My cheapie (£12 blackspur job) is actually ok for drilling but the chuck is awful.

the search is down.... suppose this question's been asked plenty of times

Bit more expensive but powerful enough

or

Which is a bit more again, but is SDS & comes with a free 12V drill/driver.

Both are good brands, I've got both Erbauer & Bosch stuffsmile

If it's just for masonry I'd head straight for SDS. Goes through brick like cheese.

As already said; if it's to drill into concrete go for an SDS drill. Oh, and if you will be working on-site then will have to be 110volt.
