Mulsanne Straight this morning

We've just got back from our mad week end. Left on Friday, just got back. 1100 miles, 950 of which with the roof off (it got a bit cold at 2am on the way down, friday eve - sat morning)
I'm properly knackered

I took these at about 4am this morning.

we did indeed i'm afraid, felt that the A-roads back to calais were worth the shame, and had to be back for tomorrow.

Great shots, sure is a special moment to be beside the barriers on the Mulsanne isn't it The sound of a race car at full chat is mesmerising and the darkness somehow purifies the sound a bit more, especially when the cars are nicely spread out and you can hear it disappear into the distance

After a couple of years of trying we managed to get to the Mulsanne this year at about 1am, we spent ages crawling through the grass Commando style watched for a while then on the way back we passed some Brits but they had Bicycles and torches, and were strolling along bold as brass!!!
