My flat mate wants to have a go so I thought I'd ask on here!
He's done the google search and found one (which is now over subscribed), wondered if anyone here had given it a shot!

Thanks in advance...

Wouldnt bother! If you actually have to be taught how to do it I reckon you'd (your mate) would be crap! The people who can really do improv can just do it, they don't need to be taught how to do it!

Reckon you mate would be better off just going to open mic sessions and see how it goes; just spout something random!

Get him to stand in front of you spouting his material. Heckle him and see if he can come back with a rapid and witty put down. If he can't, he'll have no chance in front of a pissed up crowd who don't think he's funny.

Go for Maggie and the Royals. Works every time, even though they're not in power and haven't been for ages. (Just ask BBC R4's 'News Quiz' rolleyes )

Had a word with him - he's more interested in the Troupe/Games aspect of it, if that makes sense..?

I did go a while back, but didn't think much of the lecturer/teacher chappie.

He seemed to be making it up as he went along.
