What is this telling me?

Light came on in the Chim dashboard yesterday. It's a little blue snowflake shape.
Can someone in the know enlighten me please?

2 + 2 = 'ice detector' - ie it's lit to tell you the temp is near freezing, meaning you're supposed to use less right foot.

Or it's just your Ice Warning light, telling you it's a bit nippy outside

Its the ice warning light. It very helpfully tells you it is very cold outside - as if you didnt know!

I find most distracting when driving at night and a red light appears on the dashboard - i keep meaning to have it disconnected.

If it's working properly it t'll come on as either: green amber or red which translates to: nippy, cold or I've just seen a brass monkey walking down the road with a soldering iron

be careful not to damage the roof when you do that.

Or 2-4 celcius, 0-2 and sub-zero respectively IIRC.

Dont talk to me about the roof! I have been practically blinded by having the roof off all day yesterday, the cold and wind have dried my contacts to my eye balls!

well i spent yesterday working on the car and missed out on having a good blast on a sunny weekend

and after removing the sodding battery I found the replacement was too big for the box so had to reconnect the old one anyone need a brand new good make 072 battery for a later chim? grrrrrr

must meet up for a blast one day when the weather is ok mel.

I have one in my 93.. A Green and Red split doide in the center armrest, behind the Gaiters... All models "should" have one.
