Has anybody ever taken a type 9 apart??

I am trying to clean one up and replace the gaskests and oil seals. I need to take it all apart becasue it is going to be sand blasted and powder coated.

When taking it apart I remove all the bolts (6) holding the two halfs together however when I pull it apart it gets stuck (see pic).

Does anybody know where I'm going wrong?

Thanks!!!

Stripping a gearbox requires specialist tools & good knowledge to put it all back together properly. A guy i deal with who does gearboxes, reconditioned my type 9 for £90. Hardly worth the hassle to do it yourself!
