Hi
Is there such a thing as an idiots guide for newbies, out there in internet world (or even on here
)
I could just do with the step by step process and suggestions of what to use and, more importantly, what not to use. I appreciate that actual products are down to personal taste I guess but some suggestions would be great.
cheers

just spend a while reading the posts and soon you'll see the same products been mentioned over and over eg Billberry wheel cleaner, G101 all purpose cleaner, Collinite 915, etc etc, but don't forget the key to a great finish is paint surface prep no amout of fancy wax will made a poor surface look good, search out professional products Autosmart do some good stuff as do Autoglym but are often frowned on by hobby detailers in favour of more exotic (expensive) products, get the basics right, build your skills and a good finish will be yours.
