Hi,

Does anybody know what the fuel pressure for a 4.0 94 chim should be. Primed - not running and also running values.

What affects does a lowish fuel pressure have on the overall running?

Is it just lower on power / pickup?

Could it have much affect on my starting problems?

How do you cure a 'drippling' injector?

Sorry for all the questions but i just want my dream car to be useable again.

Cheers
Lee

Around 40 psi.
Should be fairly constant. There is a regulator to make certain.
If low it will lean the mixture and can cause pinking/predetonation. If too high will overfuel and run rich.
Dribbly injectors can sometimes be identified by checking the associated spark plug for rich running. Best confirmation is an injector test (see details in bible including a piccie) by someone like Power engineering. Cure is either a clean or replacement.
