Should I put in some fuel additives into my FSI engine?

As above, it's probably never been done and the car is 5 years old, I'm thinking fuel injector cleaners etc. Is this bad for the car? I do use premium fuel but you know, if it helps it run smoother and faster why not.

Being an FSI engine I'm not too sure on how it works etc so I thought I'd consult you guys before.
