Ive placed numerous posts on the site over the last couple of weeks and here is the latest problem.I start the car when cold and it starts perfectly. However when I set off Ive no power and If I floor the throttle it goes even slower and backfires. As soon as I get to the end of the road its fine.I changed my plugs about 1500 miles ago and that was the first thing I checked but they seem fine.Any ideas?

Did you change the leads as well? And are they "plugged in" right?

Sounds like you have a couple of the HT leads mixed up.

if it's anything like the 330, then you don't have HT leads, the coil sits right on top of the plug, pretty hard to plug it in wrong due to cable lenghts

Unlikely to be OK by the end of the road if the leads were mixed up.

You haven't washed the engine down recently have you?
Damp in the plugs can give misfires which tend to go away when warm
