Anyone got any suggestions for replacement shocks for an Evo2?

Need to get the car through an MOT, but the car is being heavily modified at the end of the year, have not decided on spec yet so dont want to commit to special aftermarket equipment until a decision on the rest of the spec has been made.

So would like to fit some std items for now, just some used ones (mot worthy) would be fine for the time involved, anyone got any or know of anyone?

Can get original new items but they are costly considering I'll be throwing them away in 6 months (obviously wont find someone like me wanting them in 6 months biggrin)

Cheers smile

Can't help with sourcing used OEM, but I've just ordered BAD coilovers from John Whalley (developed specifically for the Integrale). Give him a call - he can describe how these suit the car through combining main and tender progressive springs. This should in theory give you suppleness on the road and firm up when they need to.

They're not cheap at around 2 grand but the the alternative RSR or Ohlins are even more expensive at current exchange rates and probably overkill for a road car.

Some recommend KW v3 which are cheaper still but I haven't read any owner feedback on these.

Try searching on Evocorner on Delphi Forums for more info.

Would be happy to if I were in the UK, except they are utterly sh@gged (the car is undriveable on them!)
