Peter Wheeler

No doubt most readers will be aware of the sad and early demise of Peter Wheeler. It seems fitting thast some sort of memorial would be appropriate. Peter and his team produced some memorable cars. It would be fitting if there was a permanent memorial to him perhaps at a racing circuit where he used to race a Tuscan. If the Morgan Car Club can erect a memorial to Peter Morgan for his efforts surely the TVR supporters could do something similar. I would certainly contribute as his cars have given me tremendous pleasure. What do others think?

How are you did you sort the mis-fire on the 1600M?

I think that Peter Wheeler deserves some kind of recognition.

Hi Craig,

Yes eventually sorted the 1600M, your hint re the two duff contact breakers had me thinking. It turned out to be a 9volt coil on a 12 volt circuit, the replacement was bought as a 12v but turned out to be 9v also so went round in circles. How is the GM?

The Griff is great clocking up plenty of miles in this great weather,roof off of course glad you found the problem with the 1600M persistance paid off eh.Hope to catch up with you at some meet this year.Do not want to hog your thread as its off topic but good to here from you.
