Audi interiors - gone downhill?
Discussion
I've always thought that Audi do the best interiors when it comes to mass market cars. I loved the interior on my old S3, my B6 S4 is even better and the only one I like more is the B7 RS4.
Over the weekend I spent some time in the dealership waiting for a new battery to be fitted and had a chance to have a look round the new B8 S4. I loved the seats but I thought that the dash and controls had really taken a step back. Really cheap hard plastics and far too many cheap feeling buttons, very Japanese. Even the R8 was a bit like this, not what you expect for £90k.

I'd agree with you on that. The interiors are still nice, but not an advancement on the B6 A4 era. Most shameful of all is the A3 - that really needs an interior overhaul.
They are still ahead of BMW and Mercedes though I think; here's hoping they push the game forward with the next gen of models.
