Ok, sunday night at work someone rifled through my work gear and stole my fairly expensive head torch, not a company one, one i had bought for myself out my own money.
I reported it monday and though no more of it.
Fast forward to today and unbeknown to me and our cctv had picked up who it was. It turns out it was a colleague, they have him on tape clear as day going through my pockets and taking it.

Ive just seen him walk out the depot, he's been suspended pending a full meeting with H.R in the coming days, what are the chances he's gonna be sacked? definate?

I just feel a bit guitly because he has 2 kids, and 1 is only 6 months or so old.

Also on that very night before he took it i had spent half an hour showing him how to use his iphone, and thats the thanks i got!

Don't feel guilty. The thieving st should have known better and would have known the consequences should he have been caught (which he has).

Did you get it back ?

If he looses his job, he would have learnt his lesson, his kids wont grow up to be horrid little sts and society is a better place.....

Or

He joins the gravy train, his kids grow up on the gravy train and another generation of sts begins.

I think I understand your guilt - it's not at the consequences HE will suffer, but the potential consequences for his FAMILY at his doing.

To ease that guilt, take solace in the thought his kids are probably thieving scum as well.

Even the 6 month old. The little bds.

tough st, same for the other thousands of thieving tts that steal things and have kids at 10 years old.

Moneypenny is right "now wonder this country is going down the st pan if we feel sorry for the criminals".....why feel sorry for the horrible bd?

Well he obviously isnt exactly stealing from you to survive then is he!

...Look at it this way if it makes it any easier: He stole from you - therefore he obviously doesn't value any friendship with you or respect you.
