After 12 years on the continent. One of only two roadgoing Marcos LM 600s has been restored and updated and made its public debut at the Ace Cafe on Saturday at the joint Marcos / Morgan owners club meet.

That is one of ugliest cars I think Ive seen in a long time. Its taken the basic pretty Marcos shape and made it a cartoon excess figure frown

You still would though wouldn't you?

I love it! ALthough the wheel/wheel arch sizes look a little odd? Does it need to settle a bit or just bigger wheels?

These cars were designed and built for the track with minimal ground clearance for racing. Consequently, when adapted for the road, the bodywork on this car has to sit higher on its wheels than its track siblings to try to get some acceptable ground clearance. Hence the gap between the top of the wheels and the wheel arches.

One of only 2 road legal LM600's???

There was only one road legal LM600. Although rumor has it there may be an LM500 conversion to an LM600 out there somewhere.

Of the origninal LM600's Marcos built, the first three were Race Cars, then this road car (which was originally blue), then two more Race Cars.
