There is probably something on here already but as unable to search any views ??

problem started on saturday with me letting my battery run flat as I had forgotten to plug the trickle cherge in (or life support as the missus calls it).

Normally I just plug this back in and leave a day or two and bang back to normal.

This time however I plugged it in and the battery has been charging for a good few days now however I cant turn the immoboliser off with the fob to start the car or even lock/alarm the car now.
I seemed too much of a coincidence that the battery on my fob would go the same time so I dug out my spare and that doesnt do anything either.

Any ideas ? would it be electrical or perhaps not recognising my fob some reason ?

have to excuse me, im bit of a mechanical retard so any assitance would be really helpful in getting the cerb up and running again

cheers

First thing to try is disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Have the blipped ready when you reconnect to silence the alarm if it goes off...

And leave your boot open in case it locks the car
