i took my 1995 celica st202 to the mechanics yesterday because my wheel bearing has started making a terrible noise.he took it all apart and whilst getting the calliper off noticed that my pads are knackered too.he went to order the new bearing but they told him you have to buy the complete hub.now i know nothing about cars but,to change the hub,buy some new bolts for the caliper(which are 8 quid a bolt!!!!!)because they snapped and renew the pads the total for the work is around 350 quid!!!!!the hub itself came in at 280 quid!!!!and i still need to service it and get the cambelt done.do any of you celica owners feel like your car parts are way way more than any other car on the road?????!!!!!!

Surprisingly no. I have at times hated my celica too, but I just keep in mind that it costs you to use it, so parts are eventually going to become worn/ beyond repair. Saying that, like you, I feel as if I purchased an abused dog. To tell you the truth I have felt like binning my car on several occasions. Now that most of my parts have been changed it should run for a lot longer before something else goes.

I have purchased a few things from brakesinternational up in bradford and have found them useful and cheap. Alternatively give TCB parts in Cornwall a call. Get in touch with Nix in Manchester on the Celica Club forum to order other used parts.

try buying parts for a evo, everything is 4 times dearer than other stuff.
