Awesome thanks for sharing...I said on here a while back that Dubai IMHO has some of the best exotica in the world.

PS - you must have spent a whole day outside the Mall of the Emirates to spot all that smile

I was there in January, and it was amazing - I love the place....everything just oozes money.

The MOE is a great place to spot exotics, but the marina on an evening was nose to tail car porn!

I'd not seen a Nissan GTR on the road until I went; where I must have honestly seen 4 a day! Only things I didn't see were a Veyron and an SLR....everything else was there though!

Oh - I want to go back now!

mass exodus of ex-pats deserting the place these days, the business economy is in the doo doo big time!

will all this money run out in Dubai sooner or later?

where will all these cars go?

The money won't run out - the construction industry is slow in Dub, but it's on hold, rather than cancelled. Most large projects are still going to go ahead...it does need to be careful though....Abu Dhabi is a safer bet. It is richer than Dubai, but it is going about its development a lot slower, learning from Dubais mistakes....still love the place though!

This is an unfair comment - The Brits/Arabs and the rich from outwith Spain "Made" Marbella & Puerto Banus. Jose Banus created the area to attract money from outwith Spain. Dubai is using the same method to attract tourists and investors as they are not as oil rich as there neighbours.

I don't feel it's an unfair comment. Marbella/PB is tacky and full of car dealers/footballer's wive's wearing loud tacky clothing and their gobby children.

Yes, and when was it any different? Saudi Royal Family and Hugh Hefner were there at the opening in the 70's. It is what it is, as is St Tropez,Miami and even Monaco during the Grand Prix.

They say that these places are Full of Rich People, Full of People that want to be Rich and Full of people wanting to look at the Rich.

That is exactly how Dubai felt. You could not pay me to go back there (and I was only there for 22 hours on an overnight stop).

Me and a few of the boys stayed further along the coast and visited Puerto Banus/Marbella for the day. Very disappointing, all we found were busy and not so attractive beaches and many many skinheads.

With all due respect guys you can see those cars and more around the back of Harrods on any given day during the summer, even the number plates will be the same. biggrin The only difference will be that the weather is not as good...

A mate went to Dub at the weekend for a stag do, I was stunned to find a couple (even married) arent allowed to hold hands in the street?

Thought he was winding me up until I saw this:

Dubai bans holding hands

Just the kind of ste that means you wouldnt drag me there in a million years

It's their country, let them do with it as they please.
To be honest I've been to dubai a few times and never have I seen one of those signs and I've seen couples holding hands etc all the time. You don't know till you go (no rhyme inteded).

Great pics OP, last time I went to MOE I didn't see that many good cars but it must have been the time of day.
