Brilliant, will be buying the DVD on release. Tom Hardy played Freddie brilliantly, right down to the constant chewing of a coke head. According to wifey - who is a true Martina Cole fan - this series of The Take, is the central half of the book, missing the beginning of the book and the finale (let you guess the outcome for Freddie junior).
Just watched the final one, excellant all the way through. Didn't disapoint at all. We need more programs like this, perhaps too long to be a movie. Hope to see more of all the actors/actresses in there, was a really good cast. I know we're seeing more and more of Tom Hardy but Shaun Evans hasn't yet been in much that i've seen.

Didn't disappoint? I thought the final episode easily the weakest of the four, the previous three being excellent and setting up an ending that sadly just sorted of faded into nothing when it promised so much. When the credits rolled, I couldn't help but think 'is that it then?'.Antony Moxey said:
