Dear All,

my 'ro is being serviced/MOT-ed/fettled by Monkfish next week so I'm delivering this Saturday (20th) and picking up next (27th).

Is anyone else passing through?

As a result of the fettling I'm likely to have surplus Pedders superlow springs (2004 CV8) to the tune of one set, used for no more than 2000 miles. Any offers?

regards,
Jet

yes, but you will get a lot of camber gain at the rear as you dont have the additional link. I can supply the adjustable camber bushes if needed.

Dear SimonV8ster,

Roger has offered "standard" VXR springs (which he regards quite well) while keeping the Pedders (?) shocks (vastly superior to the standard ones).

I see this as a highly cost effective way of at least trying (and likely keeping) a softer and higher ride (than the Pedders superlow) without going to the full adjustable setup (££) nor the over-soft standard CV8 (wobble).

If it doesn't "work" then I'll consider the full adjustable setup,

regards,
Jet

Thats what he suggested to me I think when I spoke.

Let me know how you get on - i've got a set of used VXR shocks/springs but haven't put them on yet.
