My carpets are a bit faded & frayed. Any idea how much a set from TVR cost? Are there other/better/cheaper suppliers? Any recommendations?

I rang the factory last week asking the same question re. my Griff.
The prices quoted were roughly £450.00 for the carpet & £250.00 for fitting, both plus vat.
Its a two day job to fit.
You will pay significantly more through a main dealer.

Hope that helps

You've only just bought it havent you.... hope you got a bargain..

£700 for a re-trim isn't that much you know.. in the VW Beetle world you can easily pay over £1000 for a Bernard Newbury interior.

Cheers
Matt.

Now now Matt just cos I didn't look at your's don't go getting all bitter & twisted!
Truth be told they are in good nick apart from the bit under the drivers heel. The leather is in a light tan with Cranberry carpets. I just fancy a darker shade of red. However I think I'll make do with some mats for now. I don't suppose the wife will let me sell another one of the kids just yet!

Truth be told, mine are a bit worn there too... TVR will just do you a set of mats if you like... about £150 I think.

Cheers
Matt.

Mine are faded as well due to the sun, including door cards and transmission cover. There must be a cheaper alternative to replacement as all it looks like is for some colour to be added (simple sounding) maybe blue peter can help!
Also anyone know the best way to clean leather, i've tried autoglym stuff but no improvement.

If they are just faded buy suede dye from a cobbler. It sprays on (make sure you mask properly it goes everywhere) you leave it to dry for a bit and hey-presto as good as new. My carpets are blue and they come up great.
