Dutch "Police Car" crash in Karting Nord

This happened right outside our pitch around 1 in the morning, the passenger smashed his head through the windscreen - lots of glass embedded in his forehead. The driver appeared to do a runner. What was funny was the group of guys asking the injured passenger questions, it went something like this:

"What tent are you in"
Passenger: "Yes, I'm staying in a tent"

Person A: "What day is it"
Passenger: "It's Friday"
Person A: "No that's not right, it's Thursday. He must be concussed"
Onlooker: "Actually mate, it's 1 in the morning, so it is actually Friday..."


Next year they need to fit Rally Spec headlights to avoid those ditches...

We had a pitch in Karting Nord and see nothing funny about a pi$$ed idiot crashing this thing into a ditch ( I realise you are not saying the incident was funny either ) There were two families with young kids asleep in tents near to us and these nob-heads could have driven into them and killed them. This was the same group who kept starting their ridiculous "Hot-Rod" shed, revving it up then doing the same thing again an hour later. Why ?!. they then let of some very loud rocket bangers.....Oooo, bang ! Wow ! rocket makes loud bang, must drag knuckles across ground and fire rocket, BANG! cor..... you get the picture. Funny though how they were all very quiet after the buggy crash........

Some nice shots there! Bloody hard to take appealing pictures of the Le Mans atmosphere away from the race, so well done.

Completly agree, the trip was ruined a bit for us by all the idiots making huge fires, and revving cars at 2 in the morning, and playing music till 3 in the morning, and bloody stupid air horns.

Sunday evening it was driven towards these guys having a toilet roll fight who tipped it.

Seemed to have been stripped of the lightbar and the seat was thrown around.
