Cholmendeley Pageant of Power 18th - 19th July

Right then, who'll be interested in exhibiting on a Pistonheads stand at this years pageant http://www.cpop.co.uk/ ? This is the second year of running and has been compared to the Goodwood Festival of Speed although on a smaller basis, though saying that, look how the FOS started out? I know that it's short notice, but I've a deadline of Friday 26th to have names & car registrations etc. There is room for 20 cars per day and included is a pass for 1 car & driver, if you're a definite, then please put your name along with car make/model,registration number and which day(s) you'd like to attend (cut & paste), then send me a S.A.E. to LAWRENCE CLIFT, 47 MOSS SIDE WAY, LEYLAND, PRESTON, LANCS. PR26 7XU so that I can send the passes out. There are discounted tickets avaialble for passengers (£40 pp for the weekend, £25pp per day, children free if booked in advance) so could you also enclose a cheque made payable to CPOP LTD for any extras please. Also, how about displaying a short description of your car in the windscreen so that the public will know a little bit more about your car? Just an idea. Thanks.

I'll see you all there. I'm taking the Vette as part of the Sporting Bears Dream Rides. The website makes the car sound very flash "a legendary Corvette straight from the Indy Races in the USA".

We're camping for the weekend down there and will keep an eye out for the PH display - especially the Ultima!

Hi,
We have a stand at the C.PoP for Veteran Cars, so please come and have a look at us when you have a minute. On display will be a 1916 Ford 'T' racer, the first 'mile a minute' Hudson, both recently back from the Gordon Bennett Rally in Ireland and a Napier racer, amongst other pre 1918 cars.
If it wasn't for these very early racers, we wouldn't have the racing cars of today.
(Right off my soap box now)........Come and see us, you are very welcome.

Sounds really interesting - I'll be sure to pay you a visit. I had some (very distant) family many moons ago ended up in Detroit. One of them founded Hudson, apparently.
