I'll never part with mine but good luck in your search. There are a few on ebay but they'll probably go over £300? Best I've seen online is £320.

Sorry, I'm with Gemm...

If I ever ended up in dire straits and had to start selling off my camera kit, my 100mm macro would be the last to go. smile

Good luck looking though.

I was tempted until I tried to shoot a butterfly with the mp-e65 (got it's head and neck only hehe).

Good luck with your search, excellent lens!

Show off! wink

OP I've kept an eye out for them on eBay before, but they tend to get a bit of a bidding frenzy on them and go for silly prices!

Have a look at the Tamron SP 90mm Di f2.8, it is highly regarded, which is why I've got one! I love it, it is a well built lens which serves well for portraits and fits your pricing.

Why not go for the Sigma 100mm Macro? it too boasts 1:1 & shares the exact same Kenco elements!

Here's a good Kenco element!

Light transmission is a bit dodgy, but could be used as a flash diffuser if you took the black bit off...
