Very, very good. Thanks for posting. My attempts are rather more crude:

Yes, I was just using a camera body cap with a hole in it and didn't persevere much but seeing that link is as stark a reminder as you can get that >90% of a good photo is down to the photographer's artistry and their understanding of the equipment.

Wow there's some incredible images there especially Scott Speck's about a third of the way down, really never thought you'd be able to get shots like that from a pin hole camera.

SamHH - I think that's great! Hole in the body cap sounds like good fun hehe!

Do you think it could be improved upon at all? Or did those already take a lot of effort?

In any case, I've just eBayed a spare body cap and will be trying as soon as it gets here boxedin

Looking at the quality of the photos in the original link you'd think that you must be able to but I'm not sure how. Most of those examples are shot with 120 or bigger film whereas mine was with a digital sensor smaller than 135 so maybe that's got something to do with it.

It was fairly easy to make; the only difficult part was making sure I didn't make the hole too big. I used the smallest nail I could find and hammered it in gently until it had just broken through the plastic. Another way I've seen on the Net would be to cut a big hole in the cap then tape some foil over it and poke a hole through with a pin.

You've obviously got no controls to worry about so it's just point-and-click but you do need to remember that very little light gets through so exposures can easily be into the seconds even with the ISO at 3200.
