Cold Start Valve on 3.9 EFI Classic

Very strange that.
The part you linked to is claimed to be a cold start injector for a 3.9 but I thought CS injectors were only used on 3.5.

Anyway, I think the bit you are looking for is the IAC (Idle Air Controller) which is a stepper motor which lives on the back of the air plenum. These become gummed up and need to be removed and cleaned fairly often. A simple job as it is just a connector, air pipe and 2 or 3 bolts.
Clean it in some paraffin, quick dry and pop it back on.

I will give it a clean this weekend, its strange she has some issues starting and only 50% of the time in traffic does the engine hunt then cut out but starting again isnt a problem at all. Hopefully this will rectify the situation.
