I am currently considering a role in Guernsey and was hoping some people have some knowledge of what it is like to live and work there. Having searched the archive I have noticed a few live there and love it, however they seem to have families whereas I am 29 and single. I am a bit concerned that I will find it difficult to adjust to a 'quieter' existence after spending 5 years in London.

The role seems like a great opportunity but I have doubts about the lifestyle, if I can get those doubts out of my mind it will make it easier for me.

taken from the above

....Guernsey also boasts some very reasonable nightlife. Well, it needs to really when you consider that of the 60,000 odd population, around 30 per cent are aged 20-39.

those are good odds smile

EDIT: they arn't really good odds! that means 60% are too old or young!

anyway, you could be considered fresh meat and have the women all over you smile
