Brilliantly creepy, Steve Pemberton at his best IMO. Nice to have a unique comedy on the scene for once.

Fantastic, really enjoyed it. Very League of Gentleman in places but I expected it would be.

Did anyone see Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire at 9pm. The woman who plays Aneka is dreamy!!

Very dark and twisted, most enjoyable biggrin

My only issue, Bristol (where Dawn French was being quite superbly potty!)is not in sodding Avon. Bristol is a city and county. Avon does not exist!

Wish the fecking post office and mailing databases would realise it too.

"Mum.....I've done a baaad murder!"

God that relationship between the mum and son was very cringe/laugh inducing. Really enjoyed the episode though, very much in the vein of League of Gentlemen, almost like they are all escapees of Royston Vasey.

Quite interesting, but didn't find it funny at all.

Agreed. It got the odd laugh here and there but overall I was disappointed. The scenes with the blind guy were hopeless IMO.

I watched the first ten minutes of this on Iplayer and turned it off as it quite frankly tosh, and didn't strike me as comedy at all. I might have had a very slight smile right at the very beginning, where he is sealing the ye olde threat letters in the post office queue, but after that it was all quite dire.

Is it really worth carrying on watching? I got up to French in the pre natal class and didn't find anything funny or interesting at all.

To be honest if you didn't enjoy it at all then there isn't much hope, I suggest a cheap motel, a revolver and a single bullet...

There might have been humour in the show somewhere, but it must have been so far below my intelligence level I didn't spot it, let alone find it amusing.

For instance, the scene with the midwife and her abnormal attraction to the freddy doll. Was that supposed to be funny? I didn't find anything up to that point amusing so please let me know if it got better further in and I'll give it another watch.

I'll still be watching, as I want to know what happened, who and why. It's just I didn't find incest, Crusty and mental illness that funny.

Mental illness is hilarious!
