Found an interesting receipt last week.
Yes it was 14 years ago today that I handed over the largest wedge of cash that I have ever seen or probably will ever see. (Dont ask, its a long story of MADS, tax exemption etc etc )

Never imagined that I was going to keep the S so long. And as the clock approaches 99k I still couldnt imagine selling it.

My god, fourteen years and 99k and it broke down once! Never would have happened with a quality German product....




Ah yes, the SL500 just broke down (again) on Sunday
