Might sound odd.. but hopefully the suit wearers of PH can help here!
I have a set of Loake shoes for work, and they have 5 eyelets, I like to have my shoes quite tight, and these are maybe if anything slightly to wide for my foot (we are talking ever so slightly) so when I tighten them I tend to go through laces very quickly, as the shoe needs to be at its tightest!
Is there any recommendation of type/brand etc that are very strong and will last the test?
Odd one I know, but its annoying now!

Shoe lace advice on a motoring forum. Well I never.
Never quite understood this response to these sort of posts. He asked the question in 'The Lounge', which is a subsection of a motoring forum, for (and here's the really clever part) 'Non Motoring Related Topics' many of which I see you have commented on.I would think it highly unlikely that the OP is going to go and join a Shoe-Lace forum to ask a question, which evidently could have been answered on a forum he already uses. Am I wrong? Or have I completely misunderstood the whole point of the Pie & Piston section of Pistonheads?
edited because you seem the type of pedantic so and so to pick up on a minor spelling mistake
