Probably since he flew in the other day and flew out. So maybe not quite a whole week did he act the part of stig.

Apparently Schumi was there in the FXX - but the Stig thing is misleading. He may have posed as 'a stig' - but he's not the regular 'stig(s)'

This is confusion over him driving the FXX around the top gear track. Probably because Ferrari didn't trust the real Stig to get a decent lap time. Schummi designed the FXX and probably can get the best laptime out of it (In their eyes).

The stig is mildly entertaining, and obviously has some sense of humor - Schuey is German - I rest my case

Sounds about right, they've done it before after all. I recall hearing that when they had the F1 Renault around the Top Gear track it was Heiki Kovalinen (Renault test driver at the time) at the wheel in Stig style gear

Again, makes sense, The Renault is so massivly different to any car the stig will drive on TG that it would risk killing the F1 car to get the footage.
