Being a Friday, the quicker they get done, the quicker they can get to the pub.

Wherever I am they are always running.
Don't they operate on a "job and finish" basis?

They run doing the round in Kempshott too.

Those lads are hard. They're young and tough and the quicker the job's done the quicker they get home/down the pub.

But it's bloody good PR. You can't argue that, as public servants, they're not working hard enough.

See News and Politics Thread....sack 'em!

Our binmen are fappin useless...they start before you get up and have chance to put the bin out, and they're finished by twelve......oh and if you leave you bin lid open by 3/8's inch, you'll have to wait another fortnight for collection!

I remember when (back in the 80's) when they walked up our short drive (like three car lengths) opened the shed, dragged the metal bin out slung it over their shoulders, walked to the dust cart (NOT garbage truck!) slung it in the back and emptied it then put the thing back were they found it! beer

You are complaining that they are doing their job too quickly? You have taken the time to measure how open the lid was but not to just close it?

Ever thought of putting your bin out the night before?

Jesus,

Thank you for the comments, I would like to confirm that my comments were just fleeting, tongue in cheek, that kind of thing.

Regards

God.

and if anything fell on the road/pavement, they picked it up and threw it in the truck, these days it looks like a war zone round here after they have been for the recycling.

I think our binmen must all hate their wives/booze then because they aren't in much of a hurry to get the job done.
