There is a dark blue Octavia doing the rounds alot recently. Sighted in Eaglescliffe, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Billingham.

What rights? It's just a prefix used by the issuing Local Vehicle Licensing Office (or whatever they're called these days). Just happens that whichever clerk at the supplying dealer fills in the forms uses the same LVLO.
Another clue to unmarked cars being Police is that they rarely if ever have a dealer's sticker anywhere to be seen... just in case anyone gets the arses with them Of course if you're close enough to see that you ought to be able to see the clear strobes glued to the bootlid, the non-standard radio aerial and the epaulettes on the white-shirted driver. If you miss that lot you deserve a ticket...

i've always thought they were nx as they were registered at the newby wiske HQ in northallerton.
might just be me seeing things but a hell of a lot of cars around there have nx plates too hence my thinking ^^^^

The S80 is one of the chiefs old cars that was just used to drive them about in, think they are using it till it falls to bits or blows up as opposed to selling it.

They also have just taken delivery of a bronze coloured Volvo XC60 aswell so keep an eye out for that.
