It's Friday.

Takeaway day.

Either some kind of 18" greasefest of a pizza or a Chinese from the my in-laws takeaway.

Cup o' cha and maybe a cucumber sarnie with the crust cut off.

Later I shall have a steak for my dinner.

I'm having:

Grilled chicken breast served in a lightly toasted pitta bread stuffed with pak choi leaves, sweetcorn, red onion, feta cheese and a dribble of mustard.

Yum yum.

Pork fillet with a cream, mustard and prune sauce. I never buy fillet anything as usually I find it tasteless compared to fattier pieces of meat but they were cheap so thought I'd get one.

I fancy it with some crisp roasted new potatoes with garlic and rosemary.

It is indeed 'dinner' down here! tongue out

Looking to be pork steaks with sage. Possibly new potatoes, possibly haricot beans.

It's Friday. Start it again on Monday. It makes sense (and makes me feel better about my consumption over the next three days)

Well, my plan was to make some nice crispy chicken wraps.

Made up of the following...

tortilla wraps
chicken fillet goujons
lettuce
salsa
guacamole
sour cream
crushed doritos
a dash of tabasco

So I eagerly awaited my shopping delivery tonight, which amongst other things contained all of the necessary ingredients.

Groceries arrived. One item unavailable. Which one? The chicken goujons.

Kinda limits my options... mad

Why didn't the idiots put you some regular chicken fillets in? At least you could have made do with them.

I've never shopped for groceries online. Is it usually okay?

I occasionally shopped with Tesco online and they were usually quite good, but they gave me some bizarre substitutes. One time they offered me a jar of Branston Pickle instead of the ketchup I wanted, under what circumstances would one of those things replace the other?confused

If you can make 'Search' or, more likely, google work for you there have been threads on this. Ocado seems well liked.

I think it depends on who "shops" for you,you may end up with short dated crap & vague substitutes or summat similar to what you'd buy yourself.
